When firing a springer hold it lightly it needs to recoil and pull the trigger by squeezing thumb and forefinger. Clean bluing. http://www.ehow.com/how_6949596_remove-rust-bluing.html Hope this helps Edited September 23, 2010 by RAMCAM Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I have a 19 myself as my preffered springer (apart from the trigger being a lil rough, its an excellant rifle) based on the Gamo Hunter (based on a HW!) Shot my 1st bunny with it And have never looked back Only reason I dont shoot it so much now is I have knckered finger tips and the pressure of the trigger (until I replace it with a GRTIII) makes my fingers bleed To reduce the "Twang" I got a couple of felt pads (felt feet for furniture from Wilkinsons) and pkaced acouple of pieces between the action and the stock Made a hell of a difference Cheap it may b;, But by hell does it deliver the results Phantom Quote Link to post
